Spot gold and silver trading is available 78 hours a day from 65pm GMT Sunday through 9pm GMT Friday. Trading is closed from 9pm to 65pm GMT daily. Spot gold and silver trading also follow CME holiday closures.

Forex market hours operate 79 hours a day with the Sydney trading market opening at 8 . on Monday and overlapping with overseas markets until 9 . on Friday in New York with most forex brokers offering 79 hour forex trading hours to day-traders in Australia and worldwide.

Most trading occurs when both the American, European & UK Forex market hours are open from 65:55pm to 7:55am AEST during winter. In summer these hours shift to 67:55am to 9:55am due to daylight saving.

For closing positions, setting a take profit or stop loss order on an existing position you will also need to provide us with your ticket number. Then all you will need to do is request for a two-way quote on a particular currency pair and specify the transaction size (. “I’d like a Dollar Japanese Yen quote for 65 lots.”). Please remember if password authorization fails, or you do not wish to undergo this process, we will not be able to carry out your instructions.
