Blackberry Once upon a time, there were 3 sisters who fell in love with 3 warriors. As stories would have it, the law of the land forbade them from being together. A war broke out.
In order to save the 3 sisters, a powerful witch turned them into Rocks. Alas, the witch himself was killed in the war before he managed to turn the 3 sisters back into the beautiful being that they were. And there was no one else powerful enough to turn them back. And so was the became of the 3 sisters.

Blackberry We arrived here for our lunch. Serious lack of halal food, so we went for deserts rather.
Here we are at Josophan’s Fine Chocolates Cafe. Ice Blended Berry Infused Tea, Ice Chocolate with Whipped Cream and Choc Curls, Belgian Waffle with Pure Canadian Maple Syrup. Drooooooolllllll……. Until we actually tasted them.
Pretty much everything we ordered tasted a bit bland and certainly overpriced.
Didn’t have much to browse but it was enough to bore me as you could see.
And now we’re off to the 3 Sisters.

Blackberry We arrived here just in time for some ‘water falls’. In the end, we decided to take a gentle stroll rather than the more vigorous walk. Built up some calories with some Ice-cream Sprinkle Flake. Yup, we’re officially hungry. Fortunately the stop after this involves food.
Despite the supposedly easy path we took, it would seem that we still managed to take as much time as the others getting to the rendesvous point. Some really nice views which unfortunately, we couldn’t share as we were rushing a bit.

Blackberry This is an informal tourist side. No chendol stall or air tebu stall. Also no railings etc. So get as close as you want to the cliff’s edge at your leisure /peril. Brad was also demonstrating how the aboriginies make water colour by scraping some Iron oxide from the rocks. Now on to Wentworth falls where there will be 446 steps to go through, fortunately 223 steps were downhill.

Blackberry On the way, we passed a Norman Lindsay Gallery – the person whom the movie Sirens starring Hugh Grant was loosely based on. Our tour guide also mentioned that one of the top ten religions here was Wicker (not sure the spelling) which is White Witchcraft. Anyway.
Here we are at the next stop, Kangaroo street where we found some Aboriginal rock engravings. About 200 years old. Not sure why it’s there.
That’s Brad btw, our tour guide. Off to the King’s Tableland for some nice views. Some traffic along the way…

Blackberry Not really a tourist destination although sometimes there are some water skiing going on. Not today. We’re just here for some light refreshments and to pay the fee. Good idea leaving the fee paying in the middle of nowhere; if there was any dispute, they can just leave us here. Anyway. Hopefully better things ahead.
