Chocoholics

Posted by Darling Husband under Blackberry

I’m officially a chocoholic. The San Churro’s experience had changed my life. But today, San Churro was not within our our reach. So we had to settle with Guylian Belgian Cafe.

I ordered the Guylian’s Chocolate Special. How disappointed I was as it was actually Coffee. I hate coffee. Anyway, darling wife ordered a Chocolate Banana Shake. It was passable.

Anyway, with my craving for chocolate unquenched, we set out for the next stop.

5th Day of Summer

Posted by Darling Husband under Blackberry

We checked out of the hotel around 1030. Left our luggage there and boarded the Sydney Explorer. Unfortunately, we never did manage to check out tthe hotel’s swimming pool or sauna etc. We did plan on taking a peek once we’ve bought some boarding shorts and flip flops but we never found decent ones…. Until….

We went on the bus and came accross the Paddy Market. It was a bargain souvenir hunter’s dream. It’s ln Market City in Chinatown. I take back what I said about Market City. This wa an awesome place to shop….. During the day. Not much at night. Since we bought a lot of souvenirs, we had to buy a luggage bag with it. There were also boarding shorts and flip flops but we had missed the boat I guess. We’ve already checked out.

Anyway, off to the Sydney Opera House, again…

Dinner at Kasturi

Posted by chika under Blackberry

Sekali lagi tonight. Kami dinner dekat Malay restaurant yang sama. Selain disebabkan saya memang suuuuuka masakan melayu, malam ni jugak saya dah tumpas sangat dah. Tak larat nak jalan jauh. Trip to Blue Mountain sehari suntuk sangat menjengkelkan. I mana tahanlah aktiviti fizikal jungle walk la, panjat sana sini. Not my cup of tea!

Kaki saya bengkak dah HAHA si lembek. Kepala dah sakit. Blue Mountain panas.

Hebat weh. Tak mahu cuba lagi HAHA

Okay patah balik cakap pasal dinner. Owner dia dah kenal kami dah. Siap dapat secawan the tarik FOC.

Fuuu tak sabar nak habiskan entry ini aku penat nei! HAHA. Anyway, menu tonight : Soto ayam, Nasi goreng kampung, Thai stir fry, Nasik putih dan Pulut Durian.

Pulut durian kau. Heh saya tak try. Husband saya yang makan. Dia kata, bolehla. Saya tak kata apa-apa sebab saya tak makan durian.

Scenic World – Katoomba

Posted by Darling Husband under Blackberry

Our arrivals were greeted by some statues of naked figures. You could some really interesting poses around these statues.

Our tour guide brought us on the Cableway – steepest in australia. We had a stroll on the scenic Walkway and then went on the steepest railway in the world – the Scenic railway that travels in a 52 degrees incline. There were some nice sceneries but they were too short to savour. Overall, it was alright but certainly not worth coming again.

Rydalmere for a Ferry trip

Posted by Darling Husband under Blackberry

It’s been a long day. Brad had dropped us off at the Rydalmere jetty to be picked up by the Ferry to Circular quays. The ferry trip itself is independent of the Oztrail Blue Mountain Tour. So we’ll just wrap up the service.

Overall, It’s been a long long day. It was nice to be able to say that we’ve been to Blue Mountain but it would have been a fogettable journey for the most part of it. We are grateful to have had the chance…. Well, I was anyway, I’m sure you’ll hear more of it (or none at all) in the near future.

Will we come here again on a Blue Mountain tour? Well anything is possible if someone will pay us to come here again – we’re not greedy, somewhere in the order of millions will do. Will we recommend it? – I guess different people have different tastes, though it certainly wasn’t ours.

Blue Mountain National park

We’ve just came from the Scenic world before but we’ll update that later as there were too many pics to upload in one go. Next…

The tour brought us here to see some wild Eastern Grey Kangaroos. Mmmmmm…. We’ve seen enough kangaroos to last our lifetime. So we just sat by the bus while the others ventured into the wilderness.

And now we’re off to Paramatha to catch the Ferry back to circular Quays.
